The workshop

Practical money skills. Open to the community.

The Frisco Youth Financial Access Workshop is being organized by Frisco students through Finora to provide free, practical financial education to local youth and families.

The planned workshop will focus on everyday financial skills young people can use as they begin making more independent decisions about money, school, work, and the future.

It is planned for Saturday, January 30, 2027, in Frisco, Texas. Final venue and participation details will be announced once arrangements are confirmed.

What the workshop may cover

The financial basics students actually use.

Budgeting and saving

Plan spending, set goals, and understand the tradeoffs behind everyday choices.

Banking and credit

Learn how common accounts work, what credit means, and how responsible use affects future options.

Financial decision-making

Compare options, recognize risk, and think through the short- and long-term effects of a choice.

Future financial independence

Prepare for the growing financial responsibilities that come with work, college, and life after high school.
